For new clients, bring ID for your family members that shows you live under one roof in the Cambridge School District. Family member that do not live under one roof need to register separately. We register you online when you arrive. To qualify, you file your household income level with New York State on the TEFAP form during intake. Information about the people in your household are required at that time. Please bring shopping bags for your food.

Yes, you get to make choices in our pantry among offerings. We do limit the amount of food based on the size of your family.
We have a wide variety including canned goods, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, sliced breads, baking supplies, hygiene products, cleaning products, paper goods, meat, dairy, baked goods, and deli items.

Yes, we have a wide variety of food to accommodate most diets, including gluten-free options. Let us know if you have food allergies. Special diets could be due to an allergy, intolerance or other medical need; or because children are following a religious or cultural diet; or a vegetarian or vegan diet.
Yes, most "sell by", "use by", "best by" dates are not expiration dates. They are put there by the manufacturer, not the government. Yes, you can designate your donation to a specific program or service offered by Cambridge Food Pantry. Send your donation check to PO Box 473, Cambridge, NY 12816 and designate how you want it used in the memo line.

Please bring your own bags, but we sometimes do have boxes available to use.
We are closed when Cambridge Central School is closed. If we are closed for any reason, we will announce it on this website and on our facebook page.
At this point, we do not deliver. We can bring your food to your car in the parking lot if you are unable to come inside. If you supply a note or call ahead to 518-677-7152, you can give permission to have someone else pick up your food for you as long as you are a current client.
